BullyBusters

SJA's After School Anti Bully Program

The BullyBusters is an after school anti-bullying group that is open to all 2nd-8th graders.

Our goal is to inform students about the characteristics of bullies and come up with ways to keep the school environment positive.  The group meets the first Wednesday of every month starting in October.  Meetings take place in Mrs. Brundage's room from 3:00-3:30 pm.  As a team we can work together to help stop bullying and treat everyone with respect!

Anti Bullying Tips
-If you see bulling, tell them to stop and find a teacher right away!
-If you have bullied someone in the past, apologize!
-It is NEVER too late to say "I'm sorry."

Types of Bullying:
Physical Bullying: hitting, tripping, punching or pushing
Verbal Bullying: name calling, insults, teasing
Hidden Bullying: lying, spreading rumors, mean looks, mean jokes or pranks
Cyberbullying: bullying on computers, phones, or texts.  It can be spreading rumors, pretending to be someone else online, or leaving someone out on purpose.
