Makings of a Warrior

The Knights of Columbus sponsored Scholarship honors students striving to fulfill our school goal of being a Saint, Servant, and Scholar in the image of our warrior-patroness, St. Joan of Arc.
The Knights of Columbus Makings of a Warrior Scholarship honors students striving to fulfill our school goal of being a Saint, Servant, and Scholar in the image of our warrior-patroness, St. Joan of Arc. These students have maintained quality academics and behavior records but, on top of this, showed the most thoughtful and invested responses in an essay. All students entering 6th grade are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Each year 2 boys and 2 girls are awarded this scholarship, which is renewed each year through 8th grade.

To advance our formational program and enhance school spirit and identity, we have established “Warrior Dispositions”. The five SJA Warrior Dispositions are Compassion, Creativity, Integrity, Resilience, and Self-Discipline. Students will learn more about these dispositions, what they mean, what they look like, and how they can grow in them as they return to school and throughout their time at SJA.
