In Social Studies, I'm learning all about Ohio.
In Reading, we read about Milton Hershey, "Because of Winn-Dixie" and “War with Grandpa”.
In ELA, I will learn about all the parts of speech.
Long division has been a challenge for me this year.
However, I love learning about Natural Disasters in Science.
As always, I continue to learn about my faith.
The best part of all, was going to Sauder Village with my classmates.
As a 5th grader:
- I am no longer a 4th grader.
- 2nd year switching classes
- I have a better understanding of what my teachers' expectations are.
- Math classes will be harder, but will have support if needed.
- Learn about Space

We will be addressing algebra skills, essay writing, and leadership skills. We will be there to help guide you at your level so that you can grow. There will be work to do, but you will be given a lot of independence and privileges. There will be field trips to Camp Damascus and Washington D.C. You will grow socially, spiritually, and mentally.
