What You Will Learn
Preschool Program
St. Joan of Arc's preschool program offers a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to discover, engage, interact, make mistakes, and problem solve. We offer a developmentally appropriate, differentiated curriculum to best serve the broad range of needs and interests of our emerging learners. Our students have full use of our outdoor playground equipment, bike track, and indoor gymnasium, creating a balance between activity and structured learning.
The key to our preschool program is offering well-rounded growth in a fun environment. Each child experiences hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning while growing academically, socially, and spiritually. Spiritual growth is a key part of our preschool program, highlighted by our slogan “These Little Feet will Follow Jesus!”
We offer full-day or half-day programs 3 or 5 days a week for students ages 3-5. Student's placement is determined based on their birthday on August 1st of that school year.

Middle School - 4th and 5th Grade
Our middle school works hard to ensure students are ready to start learning independently with structured help from their teachers. Our students work to learn new skills, such as working autonomously, tracking their own assignments, study skills, and organizational skills. Our teachers use a team-based approach to instructing the students and create a schedule that allows the students to experience switching between classes to prepare them for junior high and high school, all while having a team looking out for them.

Junior High - 6th, 7th, and 8th Grades
Our junior high is structured similarly to most area high schools. Our students have multiple teachers, one for each subject. Working to keep students organized and self-motivated is one of the top priorities of our junior high teachers. We aim to have students ready for high school when they depart after 8th grade, but continue to offer support and help when we see struggling students. Our students are offered high school placement preparatory classes as well as the ability to take math classes for high school credit before even leaving our building.
Our junior high students truly are the leaders of our school and are given daily opportunities to show their leadership to the entire school body. Whether it is helping their kindergarten buddies at Mass, reading to the younger students, or simply helping the staff when needed, our junior high students know what it means to be a true servant-leader.
