EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM
SJA offers morning and afternoon Extended Day, Monday-Friday.
AM Extended Day:
- K- 8 students may be dropped off as early as 7:30am and are supervised in the gym until being released into their classrooms at 7:55am. There is no cost for morning Extended Day for grades K-8.
- Preschool students may be dropped off as early as 7:30am and will be supervised in one of the preschool rooms until school starts at 7:30am. There is a cost for morning Extended Day for preschool.
PM Extended Day:
- Preschool Extended Day begins at 2:30pm, even if they leave with a sibling at 2:50pm.
- Grades K-8 Extended Day begins at 2:50pm.
- Extended Day for all students ends at 6:00pm.
School Delays/ Cancellations:
Delays:
- Morning Delays: No AM Extended Day. PM Extended Day will start as usual 3:00pm (2:30pm for preschool)
- Early Dismissal Days: No Extended Day available on these days. All students must be picked up at the early dismissal time.
- Cancellations: Planned days off, snow-weather days, holidays. No Extended Day will be available.
